Being based in Helsinki we get to meet and interview new guides on a regular basis and have great selection of guides for all types of tours and languages.
The use of certified guides is important to us as it guarantees a high standard in both knowledge and language skills. Guide associations do valuable work for cities and destinations with guide courses and trainings to uphold this standard. For membership, the associations require the completion of one year’s guide course with oral and written final exams and a very good knowledge of at least one language apart from maternal Finnish or Swedish.
We always try to support our guides by having well thought out tours, carefully planned routes and wages that are paid in time and in full, in accordance with the law and branch policy.
